On a crisp Saturday morning, my wife Cynthia and I eagerly left our cozy Harlem apartment behind, setting our sights on the scenic beauty of Lake Surprise, New Jersey, a destination that had long beckoned to us. As we embarked on the 2.1-mile journey along the enchanting Purple Trail, we found ourselves surrounded by forests adorned with vibrant shades of red, orange, and gold leaves that seemed to dance gracefully in the gentle breeze. The lake, perfectly mirroring the expansive sky above, deepened our intimate connection to the wonders of nature and to each other on this beautiful autumn day filled with promise. Each step we took echoed over fifty cherished years of shared experiences: the challenges we faced together, akin to the fallen leaves that gently scattered on the forest path; the strength we drew from one another, much like the ancient, sturdy trees standing tall around us; and the immense joys we discovered in the stunning vistas unfolding before our eager eyes. In that fleeting yet profound moment, we felt overwhelming gratitude for the journey that has brought us to this cherished point, the wisdom we've gained along the way, and a heartfelt reunion with the Creator that nourished our souls. How it's made

The image is first printed to a transfer paper, then infused into Chromaluxe metal by heat and pressure. This process combined with our custom made color profiles give true to life colors and exceptional detail. For metal prints, a white base coating ensures pure whites and true-to-life colors for vivid, accurate image reproduction on aluminum.

Note

All metal prints are printed at actual size and then machine cut 1/8th
smaller on all sides. If you order a 24 x 36", your final print size will be 23.75 x
35.75". Any Metal Print which does not fit in a 20x26” box, will be shipped in a
custom made crate lined with foam.
