At the age of sixty-seven, I had the incredible and life-changing opportunity to travel to South Africa. As I set foot on African soil for the very first time, a profound and overwhelming sense of fulfillment washed over me, marking the long-awaited realization of a lifelong dream and opening an exciting new chapter in my spiritual journey and personal development. I had the remarkable opportunity to visit the poignant and historically significant Nelson Mandela Capture Site (NMCS) near Howick and ventured into the breathtakingly beautiful mountains that surrounded us. During my extensive exploration of the diverse and awe-inspiring mountainous landscapes, I found myself deeply inspired to create "A Stream in the Forest," a tranquil and harmonious representation of Creation that beautifully captures the essence of the remarkable South African landscape I experienced in an Impressionist manner. This artwork eventually evolved into a lasting and tangible reminder of the profound impact this truly life-changing journey had on my perspective, personal growth, and spiritual evolution.
